EuropaCity launches EuropaCity Compétences (EN: Skills), its association dedicated to employment and training

In Villiers-le-Bel within the Marcel Pagnol space, EuropaCity’s collaborative platform project – the association EuropaCity Compétences – was launched this Wednesday May 22nd in attendance of the territory’s inhabitants, elected officials, partners, and employment/training actors.

Over 450 people were united to attend EuropaCity Compétences’ launch party. And all were impatient to discover its team, its partners, its action plan and such an exclusive collective and innovative from a private actor. According to the sustained applause which marked the end of different interventions, they were seduced.

EuropaCity Compétences president, Christian Lema highlighted its association’s main motivations and the actions allowing to act for a fairer and more inclusive territory, 8 years before the opening of the EuropaCity destination. Among them, the territory’s talent value through a 50-date employment-training tour with the Créative association as well as an action aiming to ease the mobility of young people carrier of professional projects through the financing of driver’s license.

This party was also the occasion to discover a small part of EuropaCity Compétences’ partners. Saïd Hammouche and Estelle Barthélémy (Mozaïk RH), Mohamed El Mazroui (Creative), Idriss Niang (Agir Ensemble), Sarah Ouatara (Samara), and Yvon Atonga (Ghetto Star Not Limit) all took the stand to share their involvement and support. All believe in this pro-active action aiming to favour a local and inclusive recruitment as part of the project and even beyond.

The presentation was followed by a moment of exchange and sharing. The occasion for some to speak of all the good they think of the project, and for others to ask questions on the different actions led by the association. The occasion to come back over the EuropaCity Compétences tour which started a little earlier in the day in front of the Villiers-le-Bel train station with 50 professionalisation contracts on top of these 6 first dates.
