With the employment-training tour, EuropaCity Compétences acts for employment
Organised by EuropaCity Compétences (Skills) in partnership with Le Bus de l’Initiative (The Initiative Bus) and Mozaïk RH for the first 6 dates, the employment-training tour is a recruitment campaign in towns of Paris’s North East. The goal? Boost this territory and make talents grow.
The employment-training tour, why?
Strategic territory because of its closeness to the Roissy-Charles de Gaulle airport and A1/A3 motorways, the North East of Paris is paradoxically set aside from the capital city’s economic vitality. The youth is particularly disadvantaged with an average unemployment rate of 27% in the Val d’Oise department with surges to 45% in some of the city’s high-priority neighbourhoods. The idea for the employment-training tour is born out of the need to provide them with guidance, inform them and meet them where they live.
The employment-training tour, what is it concretely?
The employment-training tour hinges on about fifty events over 3 years aiming to put recruiters in contact with talents of the area in question. Each event will have a dedicated theme to allow all types of talent to express themselves. The first date in Villiers-le-Bel on May 22 was dedicated to qualification contracts (work-study and professionalisation), with 50 jobs to fill over the first 6 dates in partnership with Le Bus de l’Initiative (The Initiative Bus) and Mozaïk RH. Other events have already been confirmed such as June 12 at Sarcelles and June 19 at Goussainville and Sarcelles.
To make the employment-training tour a success, EuropaCity Compétences partnered with the Bus de l’Initiative (Initiative Bus). For 3 years, together we will meet the territory’s inhabitants to offer them solutions in terms of employment and training. Several other partners will join us, the likes of Mozaïk RH for the tour’s first 6 dates which theme will be qualification contracts. Other themes will follow such as women’s inclusion or accessibility.
